The Lord's Outreach Ministry was originally founded by Rev. Leona C. Benoit in 1987, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This Site focuses on the Shelters that we provide for Homeless Individuals that are in Need.
THE POTTER'S HOUSE (A Shelter for Women and Children)
The Potter's House was founded by Rev. Leona C. Benoit in 1990. Since it's original conception, the Potter's House has changed location several times, but it has finally settled its beautiful Home Office located at 3233 Kirkman Street, Lake Charles, La. Where we are able to house 23 Clients at a time.
The Potter's House is presently managed by Rev. Leona C. Benoit, her staff and a very caring Board of Directors.

THE LORD'S PLACE (A Shelter for Homeless Men)
The Lord's Place was founded by Rev. Leona C. Benoit in 1992. It has changed locations twice in twelve (12) years. The shelter can presently house twenty-five (30) homeless men. We have recently aquired a new facility whereby we will be able to accommadate at least (10) more men. the Lord's Place Annex 1 will be relocated next to our existing facility located at 126 Kirkman Street, Lake Charles, La..
The shelter is presently managed by Dr. Russell J. Benoit, The on-site assistant managed, is Mr. Earl Wiltz, Jr.; Mr. Earl Wiltz, Jr. oversees the day-to-day operations at the shelter.
Mr. Richard Clements is our assistant manager over services; Mr. Richard Clements tends to all the Transportation, Automotive needs of the shelter.
Mr. Terry Baker is our Maintenance Supervisor and he maintains all the maintenance needs of the shelter.
THE WILDERNESS CHILDREN'S HOME
The Wilderness Children's Home is a reality at last. Rev. Leona C. Clements has been pursuing GOD's command for some time now.
As of December 2000, the Wilderness Children's Home is part of the Lord's Outreach Ministries.
Presently, the shelter is under renovations, and is being used as a temporary group home for the elderly and handicaps individuals. Our plan is to house 10 to 15 Homeless Children ages 4-14.
Prior to the founding of the Wilderness Children's Home, Rev. Leona C. Benoit and her husband, Dr. Russell J. Benoit, had opened their own home to those children in need. Presently, the Benoits have adopted 5 Homeless children that is currently living in there homes and being raised as there own children.
